Albany City Council discusses liquor licenses


ALBANY, Mo. - The biggest item on the agenda for the Albany City Council was alcohol distribution. City Administrator Derek Brown told KXCV/KRNW that anyone with a liquor license in the city can expect an extended renewal period.

According to Brown, this 60-day extended liquor license renewal is optional and is a small gesture to some of the businesses that have been struggling due to COVID-19. Brown also says in regards to coronavirus measures that the city hall has reopened.
